    How to use this calendar

    • Navigate with the ‹ › buttons, the month and year pickers, or the keyboard: arrow keys move between days, Page Up and Page Down change month, and Home and End jump to the first or last day.
    • Click any day to see it written as DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY, ISO 8601 and DDMMYYYY, along with its ISO week, day of the year and how far it is from today.
    • Add events such as birthdays, deadlines or appointments. Tick Repeats every year for anniversaries. Events stay in your browser and are never uploaded.
    • Print a single month on landscape A4 with room to write in each day, or switch to Year view to print all twelve months on one page.
    • Share a month by copying the address bar. Links such as /calendar?year=2027&month=1&region=uk open that month with those holidays.

    ISO week numbers

The Wk column shows week numbers as defined by ISO 8601. Weeks run Monday to Sunday, and week 1 is the week containing the year's first Thursday, which is the same as the week containing 4 January. As a result, 29–31 December can fall in week 1 of the next year, and 1–3 January can fall in week 52 or 53 of the previous one. Our ISO 8601 guide explains week dates such as 2026-W40-5 in more detail.

    Monday or Sunday first?

ISO 8601 and most of Europe start the week on Monday. The United States, Canada, Japan and several other countries usually print calendars starting on Sunday. Neither is wrong, but mixing them causes off-by-one mistakes when people read week grids, so pick the convention your readers expect. The setting is remembered for your next visit.

    About the holiday data

Holidays are calculated from published rules rather than a fixed list, so they work for any year. Easter-based dates (Good Friday, Easter Monday, Ascension, Whit Monday) are calculated with the Gregorian computus. Weekend substitutes follow each country's rules: US federal holidays move to the nearest weekday, and UK and Australian holidays move to the following Monday. Known one-off changes, such as the extra UK bank holidays in 2022 and 2023, are included. Regional, state and provincial holidays differ, so confirm official dates locally before relying on them for payroll or travel.

    Writing calendar dates unambiguously

A date like 03/04/2027 means 3 April in the UK and March 4 in the US. When you share dates from a calendar, either spell the month out (3 April 2027) or use ISO 8601 (2027-04-03). See DD/MM/YYYY vs MM/DD/YYYY for which countries use which order, or convert any date with the date converter.

    Calendar FAQ

How do I print a monthly calendar?

Choose the month you want, pick a holiday region if you like, then press Print. The page prints a single landscape A4 sheet with the month grid, holidays, your events and small previews of the previous and next months. Switch to Year view to print all twelve months on one portrait page. In the print dialog, choose "Save as PDF" to keep a digital copy.

    What week number is it?

The calendar shows ISO 8601 week numbers in the Wk column, and the selected day's ISO week appears in the side panel. ISO weeks start on Monday, and week 1 is the week that contains the first Thursday of the year.

Where are my calendar events stored?

In your own browser's local storage. They are never sent to DDMMYYYY.net. Clearing site data removes them, so use Download .ics to keep a copy or import them into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook.

Which holidays does the calendar include?

National public holidays and common observances for the United States, the United Kingdom (England and Wales), Canada, Australia, Germany, France and the Netherlands, plus international observances. Daylight saving changes are shown for the US, Canada and the EU-time regions.

Can the week start on Sunday instead of Monday?

Yes. Use the Week starts option to switch between Monday (ISO 8601 and European convention) and Sunday (common in the United States, Canada and Japan).

    Which years can I view?

Any year from 1583, the first full year of the Gregorian calendar, to 4099. Holidays that were created recently, such as Juneteenth (2021) or the Dutch Koningsdag (2014), only appear from the year they began. For older calendar systems see calendar systems around the world.
